These Terms and Conditions govern the booking of vehicles through GoCabs. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. General Booking Terms

1.1 All bookings for vehicles must be made through our official website, mobile application, or customer support channels.
1.2 A valid payment method, identification, and driving license are required to confirm the booking.
1.3 GoCabs reserves the right to refuse a booking if the required documents or information are not provided or if the customer does not meet the eligibility criteria.

2. Booking Confirmation

2.1 Bookings will only be considered confirmed once a payment is received, and a booking confirmation email is sent to the customer.
2.2 The customer is responsible for ensuring that the booking details (dates, times, vehicle type, and pickup/drop-off locations) are correct before confirming the booking.
2.3 In case of an error in the booking, it is the customer's responsibility to contact GoCabs within 24 hours for modifications.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Customer Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time may incur a cancellation fee up to 50% of the booking amount.
  • No-show customers (those who do not arrive or fail to cancel) will not be eligible for a refund. 3.2 GoCabs Cancellations:
  • If GoCabs must cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle unavailability, maintenance issues), customers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule the booking.

4. Rental Period and Charges

4.1 The rental period starts at the agreed pickup time and ends at the agreed drop-off time.
4.2 Charges for the rental are based on the rental period, the type of vehicle, and any additional services requested.
4.3 If the vehicle is returned late, additional charges will apply based on the hourly or daily rate.

5. Vehicle Pickup and Return

5.1 The customer must ensure that they are available at the pickup location at the designated time.
5.2 The customer must return the vehicle to the agreed drop-off location and time.
5.3 If the vehicle is returned later than the agreed time, additional fees may apply. If the vehicle is not returned within a reasonable period, GoCabs reserves the right to take necessary action to recover the vehicle.

6. Eligibility to Drive

6.1 The driver must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driving license.
6.2 GoCabs may require the renter to provide additional documentation (such as a passport or proof of address) to verify eligibility.
6.3 If the driver is found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, GoCabs reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the full booking amount.

7. Insurance and Liability

7.1 Basic insurance is included in the booking.
7.2 The customer is responsible for any damage to the vehicle that exceeds the basic insurance coverage, including accidents, vandalism, or theft.
7.3 The customer is required to report any accidents or damage immediately to GoCabs and cooperate fully with any investigation or claim.

8. Fuel Policy

8.1 The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank.
8.2 If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than when it was picked up, the customer will be charged for refueling at a rate set by GoCabs, plus an additional service fee.

9. Prohibited Use

9.1 The vehicle must not be used for the following purposes:

  • Illegal activities
  • Off-road driving or use in restricted areas
  • Subleasing or transferring the vehicle to another person without permission from GoCabs
  • Smoking inside the vehicle
  • Transporting hazardous materials or animals, unless explicitly allowed by GoCabs
    9.2 Any violation of these prohibited uses may result in immediate termination of the booking, additional fees, and potential legal action.

10. Damages and Security Deposit

10.1 A security deposit will be required at the time of booking, which will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in good condition.
10.2 If the vehicle is damaged during the rental period, the security deposit will be used to cover the cost of repairs.
10.3 Any damages exceeding the security deposit will be billed to the customer.

11. Late Returns and Additional Charges

11.1 If the vehicle is returned after the scheduled time, additional charges will apply based on the hourly or daily rate of the booking.
11.2 If the vehicle is not returned within a reasonable time frame, GoCabs reserves the right to charge for the entire rental period and may take legal actions to recover the vehicle.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

12.1 GoCabs values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. All personal information provided during the booking process will be used solely for booking and service-related purposes.
12.2 GoCabs will not share personal information with third parties except as necessary to fulfill bookings or as required by law.

13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

13.1 GoCabs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website, and the updated terms will apply to all bookings made after the publication date.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of dispute act 1947.
14.2 Any disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration before a mutually agreed-upon third party.
14.3 If mediation or arbitration fails, disputes will be settled in the courts of dispute act 1947.
